Fire Safety for Upper West Side Jewish Community
Monday, April 27, 2015 • 8 Iyyar 5775
8:00 PM - 10:00 PMLincoln Square Synagogue on 180 Amsterdam AvenueThe Sabbath and Jewish Holidays are a time of family gatherings, celebrated with special foods, songs and customs.
Many holy days and observances, as well as the weekly Sabbath, are a time for traditional cooking and candle rituals.
However, without safety precautions, these customary religious observances may increase the risk for fires and fire-related injuries.
Join us for a Q&A Session with an FDNY Representative.
The will address a variety of issues concerning how to safely use hot plates and the stove top on Shabbat and Yom Tov.
On April 27th 2015 at 8pm at the Lincoln Square Synagogue on 180 Amsterdam Avenue
