Women participate in ways that are unique to the Yamim Noraim davening - leading various piyutim during many of the services and some of the Shofar blasts. We also offer a full schedule of child care and youth programming on all days.

Volunteering

Darkhei Noam relies on volunteers to assist in various ways throughout the chagim. These include helping set up our space as well as ushering during davening. If you are available to volunteer, please fill out the volunteer section of the registration form or email Betsy Smolar

Child Care

Darkhei Noam provides youth programming and childcare for children ages infant through pre-B’nai Mitzvah age.

Some children's programming will be taking place at Dorot (117 W. 85th Street- across the street from MCS).

We will be escorting all children with babysitters and other caregivers. All children MUST be registered for programming and we will only be taking children whose parents give permission by clicking the checkbox on the Registration Form.

If you need help or have any questions, feel free to email our Youth Program Coordinator, Deena Nerwen.
