Bar and Bat Mitzvahs
Bar and Bat Mitzvahs
We are delighted to have you celebrate your simcha at Darkhei Noam. The Bar or Bat Mitzvah can choose from participating in Torah Reading, leading services, and giving a Dvar Torah in shul.
Please start by emailing admin@dnoam.org. We will send you the Bar/Bat Mitzvah guide and have a member of our Bar/Bat Mitzvah committee contact you to begin the process to help you prepare for your event.
Please be aware that we have extensive guidelines, many of which have to do with the constraints of our space, and that it is crucial for you to speak to our coordinator before you engage in any planning. Each celebration can be customized to fit your family's needs and our team of coordinators and gabbais will work to ensure your weekend festivities run smoothly.
It is advisable to plan a Bar or Bat mitzvah as far in advance as possible because we have various expectations of the bar or bat mitzvah which require several months of planning. We request that anyone planning a simcha at Darkhei Noam be a member in good standing.
