Hisbodedus – Aloneness Pre-Pesach 2020 (a virtual shiur)
Wednesday, March 25, 2020 • 29 Adar 5780
8:00 PM - 9:00 PMonlineHisBodedus – Aloneness - Taught by Joe Septimus
In Prayer; Alone with God.
At the Seder; Alone with your questions.
In the universe – Alone with your-self.
The uniqueness of our times enables us to experience aloneness as a ubiquitous reality. We are used to communal prayer, Sedarim with family and friends, and encountering ourselves within the various communities in which we move. And now we all are alone. We will explore some texts from Gemara, Rambam, Shulchan Aruch and Rebbe Nachaman about the value of “HisBodedus” – “Aloneness” - in Tefilah, at the Seder, and at one with God and the universe.
