Saturday, September 21, 2024 18 Elul 5784

9:15 AM - 1:00 PMMCS

Darkhei Noam will be holding its next Climate Action Shabbat on Shabbat morning, September 21st.

Stay tuned for special kids programming, a tasty and zero-waste kiddush, and a special D'var Torah delivered by Rabbi Yonatan, founder and director of The Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development based in Jerusalem.

Join Shomrei Ha'Adamah Dayenu Circle in writing postcards through the Environmental Voter Project to registered voters in Virginia as a non-partisan "Get Out The Vote" effort.

We will be reaching out to voters who are concerned about the environment but who are not consistent voters.

Join us at a home on the UWS on Sunday, September 22 from 7:30 to 8:30 pm

RSVP to landsrach@yahoo.com to receive the address. Invite your friends to join -- all are welcome!

Are you passionate about the climate? Are you in grade 7 - 12?

Consider joining Darkhei Noam's very own Jewish Youth Climate Movement group! Our first meeting will be Sunday, September 22 from 12:30 to 2:30 at the entrance to Central Park on 85 (near Spector Playground). We will be hosting an epic get to know you picnic with delicious treats and fun games. Teens from grades 7 to 12 are welcome to join!
