Darkhei Noam Young Professionals are once again participating in the annual Rosh Hashanah meals delivery program with DOROT, and we are looking for volunteers to deliver packages and visit with seniors on the West Side!
There are an unprecedented number of elderly community members living in poverty, and Jewish seniors are no exception.
Here are the details to keep in mind:
Volunteers must be 18+ and have a photo ID (student IDs are fine).
You'll be making the delivery in groups of 2-3.
This is a great opportunity to start out 5780 on the right foot, and to make a tangible impact right in our neighborhood. Darkhei Noam is proud to serve as a community partner, and we are excited to build intergenerational connections in our own neighborhood.
Sign up here by September 10th, and reach out to Elena at weissmannelena@gmail.com
