Sweet Land Farm Winter CSA

3:00 PM - 5:30 PM150 West 85th StreetManhattan Country School is inviting the Darkhei Noam community to participate in the Sweet Land Farm Winter CSA. Each week, Sweet Land Farm will deliver an assortment of vegetables in a box. Each box will include "staples" like potatoes, carrots, kale, onions, garlic, winter squash, and green house greens like spinach along with a one or two other vegetables like fennel, beets, kohlrabi, hakurei turnips, parsnips and a few others.
The Winter CSA will consist of six deliveries- 12/6, 12/20, 1/17, 1/31, 2/21, 3/7. CSA box shares will be available for pickup at MCS on those days from 3 until 5:30pm. If you forget to pick up your share by Friday morning, it will go to the school kitchen.
The Winter CSA box share is $180. You can pay via Paypal (plus a $5 convenience fee) or send a check made out to Sweet Land Farm (9732 Route 96 Trumansburg, NY 14886). If you include your email address you will also receive an email newsletter with each delivery that includes recipes and descriptions of the produce in the box. You will also have access to a recipe website that contains hundreds of fantastic recipes and other ingredients that go well with your produce.
