Stand Together

We are devastated by the attack targeting two mosques in the New Zealand city of Christchurch, and we mourn the tragic loss of 50 innocent lives. As we have had to say previously during the course of this past year, no person should ever have to fear attending a sacred place of worship. The xenophobia that led to this unspeakable bloodshed must be condemned.

This Friday, March 22, we will stand together with other faith communities in solidarity with our Muslim neighbors and friends.

As they gather for prayer on Friday afternoon, we will meet outside the mosques listed below (compiled by the UJA Federation). Should you wish to gather at a mosque not on this list, we urge you to contact the mosque in advance.
