Darkhei Noam regrets to announce the passing of Prof. Berel Lang z"l, beloved father of Ariella (Alex) Kornfeld and Jessica (Joerg) Riegel, and grandfather of Nina, Lela and Gabe, and Hannah, Leah and David. The graveside funeral will take place Wednesday, September 10, 1:00 PM at the Brothers of Joseph Cemetery, 42-52 Laurel Hill Rd., Preston, CT. Shiva will begin on Wednesday night 9/10- Friday 9/12 at the home of Joerg and Jessica 215 W. 98th St., Apt. #8D. Join UJA, the Hostage Forum, and the JCRC-NY in a community-wide event to mark the second anniversary of October 7th. The Manhattan commemoration will take place at the Streicker Center on Sunday, October 5th, with doors opening at 3:30 PM and the program beginning promptly at 5:00 PM. Seating is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration required.
